Description
There is hope for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at most stages of the disease progression. Understanding the disease, its consequences, and the treatments that are readily available is what this seminar is about. The physicians supporting the Parkinson’s program at El Camino Hospital Los Gatos come from the specialties of Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Memory Disorders, Neuro-Psychology and Otolaryngology. In this half-day session, they will be presenting information on the basics for medical intervention, surgical intervention, caregiver training, voice and swallowing interventions and rehabilitation.
