What do night time surveillance, search and rescue, and drones have in common?
They all make use of thermal infrared cameras. Learn more about infrared technology basics and infrared imagery analysis. At the time of the Waco Incident there was great controversy about the bright flashes on the infrared videos. Were they reflections from sunlight, or gunfire?
Join Ms. Grant to learn more.
Barbara Grant has 30 years of engineering experience and holds an M. S. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona. She teaches classes to professional engineers and scientists. The DVD teaching, “From a Different Angle: Infrared Reflectance and the Waco FLIR,” is her latest project.
