Saratoga Foothill Club Public Lecture Series
Presents Dr. Ross Beyer of NASA
On January 28, Tuesday, Dr. Ross Beyer, research scientist in space and astrobiology, will speak at the Saratoga Foothill Club as the third presentation in the popular Public Lecture Series.
Dr. Beyer is currently a Principal Investigator and Research Scientist with the Carl Sagan Center at the SETI Institute and carries out his research at the NASA Ames Research Center. He is also a Research Fellow at UC Santa Cruz.
“His speech, “NASA’s Planetary Exploration” will be of great interest on many levels as he brings a youthful exuberance and understandable presentation to this wide-ranging topic,” stated a Foothill Club spokesperson. He has Bachelors’ degrees in Astronomy and Physics and received his Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences.
The Saratoga Foothill Club began as a study club and celebrates its centennial in 2014. The club’s Public Lecture Series has been a staple for many years.
The talk will be at the Saratoga Foothill Club, 20399 Park Place, Saratoga, at 7:30 pm.
Admission is $10 for the public.
