Introduce your child to opera!
Puccini's The Girl of the Golden West is the opera version of a classic Western, complete with a crafty criminal, a suspicious sheriff and a frontier woman with an iron resolve and a heart of gold. Sung in Italian with English subtitles.
This FREE one-hour movie is recommended for ages 8 and up.
It’s a heartwarming story and a terrific introduction to classic Italian opera.
A 15-minute live introduction from a San Francisco opera staff member will precede the screening.
