For immediate release: Live auction, catered hors d?oeurves, BBQ dinner, costumed famous historic Saratogans and more will be on the program for the annual Saratoga Historical Foundation fundraiser on Sunday, September 19. Dinner with Friends?Past and Present promises an entertaining afternoon at the historic Garrod Ranch in Saratoga.
The annual fundraiser provides funding for all Foundation program and events. This year the entertainment includes a live auction by famous auctioneer Frank Sunseri. Paddles will be waiting for the lineup of auction items including a studio tour of KBAY by DJ Lissa Kreisler, dinner prepared by Saratoga firefighters at the station; weekend getaway packages and more. A silent auction will also be held and includes paintings by local artists; restaurant gift certificates; tickets to local events and a surprise or two. Long time rancher Vince Garrod will give an entertaining talk on Saratoga of yesteryear. And the Skillet Likkers will croon old time favorites.
Costumed Saratoga historic figures will mingle with the crowd?have a question for Saratogan Olivia deHavilland or her sister Joan Fontaine? Be prepared for having fun.
