Artist Reception Wild Hearts, Gentle Bonds with Bhawna Seth

Description

Aegis Gallery of Fine Art is delighted to present Wild Hearts, Gentle Bonds, a captivating exhibition by Bhawna Seth, a North India-born, Northern California-based oil painter whose work beautifully bridges the natural landscapes of two continents.
Bhawna’s representational oil paintings combine vibrant color, thoughtful composition, and a deep sensitivity to natural light to bring her subjects to life. Influenced by the great masters, she creates realistic yet evocative works that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the beauty around them — work that has earned her recognition in juried competitions, including First Place in Oil/Acrylic at the 2023 University Art Open.
In Wild Hearts, Gentle Bonds, Bhawna turns her eye to one of nature’s most universal themes: the tender relationships between animal mothers and their young. Through expressive detail and luminous light, she reveals the love, protection, companionship, and belonging that unite parent and child in the wild — emotions as deeply felt in nature as they are in our own lives.

Having grown up in North India and lived in the United States for over three decades, Bhawna draws inspiration from nature’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. Her work reminds us of the profound connections we share with the natural world.
Wild Hearts, Gentle Bonds will be on view October 28 through November 29, with an Artist reception.
