Saratoga Brews & Blues Fest in Wildwood Park!
Sizzling blues, combined with tasty micro brews, headline the Brews and Blues event on September 6 in Wildwood Park, located at 20764 Fourth Street in Saratoga Village. Sponsored by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, the event will run from 3 to 7 PM.
Check-in for advance ticket holders is 2pm – you can “claim your space” an hour early!
The Shakedancer Blues Revue includes Aki Kumar, powerhouse harp player and producer; Little Jonny (aka Jon Lawton), known for his guitar and vocals; Mark Hummel, Grammy Award nominee and Blues Music Award winner on the harmonica; and Terry Hanck, Blues Music Award winner and known for tenor saxophone and vocals. Each will have CDs available for purchase.
There’s room for dancing, too!
Popular micro-breweries such as Firestone and Walker, Faultline Brewing Company, Santa Clara Brewing Company and Hermitage Brewing Company will provide a choice of tasty brews to quench thirst. Those who enjoy full-flavored craft beers will have a choice of traditional to flavored craft beers, all in one location.
Those preferring wine can also purchase award-winning wine from Cooper-Garrod Estate Winery and Guglielmo Winery.
Kona Ice will also be on hand to keep you cool and refreshed during the event! 25% of the Kona Ice proceeds will benefit the Audrie Pott Foundation.
A choice of delicious BBQ, sliders and brats, stuffed tater tots and vegetarian fare by Handheld Catering will be available for purchase.
Lawn chairs are OK – no blankets, please.
No outside food or beverages allowed.
Tickets for the 4-hour event cost $30 per person and will include music and one complimentary glass of wine or beer. A free glass is included in the price. Additional glasses of wine and beer can also be purchased. You must be 21 years of age to purchase beer or wine – please bring valid photo ID!
