DESCRIPTION:Please join us for this special performance of the Manasse/Nakamatsu Duo\, composed of renown clarinetist Jon Manasse\, and South Bay native and internationally acclaimed pianist Jon Nakamatsu. Collaborating since 2004\, the distinguished duo have been bringing their inspiring artistry and charismatic styles to classical fans throughout the US and abroad. \n\nReceiving rave reviews\, the award-winning recording artists also have extensive solo careers as guest artists with the most prestigious orchestras worldwide in places such as New York's Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall\, and while on tour throughout Europe and Asia. \n\nManasse is also principal clarinetist of the American Ballet Theater Orchestra and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra in New York City. Nakamatsu is the only American Gold Medalist of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition since 1981\, and is a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music around his touring schedule. Together they have both served as Artistic Directors of the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival since 2007. \n\nDon't miss this extraordinary night of music!\n\nDoors open at 7:00pm.
