DESCRIPTION:Strike up the band and join family and friends to celebrate  Independence Day Saratoga style. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held on Thursday\, July 4 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the Kevin Moran Park at 12415 Scully Avenue in Saratoga.\n\n\n\nMayor Jill Hunter will give the opening speech and Councilmembers Chuck Page and Howard Miller will emcee.\n\n\n\nEveryone is encouraged to wear red\, white and blue in celebration of the day. Those who served in the military are encouraged to wear their uniforms. \n\n\n\nThis special\, free event includes the color guard\; patriotic tunes from the McCartysville Volunteer Band\; singing\, costumed American historical characters\; and concludes with a family parade around the park.\n\n\n\nFree US flags and popsicles are given to children.
