DESCRIPTION:Our goal for this luncheon is to bring together the dedicated non-profit organizations in our community that assist and empower women and children.\n\n	\n\n	Keynote Speaker:  Ysabel Duron \n\n	Ysabel Duron is an award winning journalist\, KRON 4-TV Senior Weekend Anchor\, and founder of Latinas Contra Cancer. Ysabel has 40 years in television news broadcasting. As a Latina\, she has been a role model to and influenced many young Latinas throughout the years. Ysabel has turned the spotlight on Latino issues as well as her own battle with breast cancer. As a result she created a non-profit\, Latinas Contra Cancer.  The agency celebrated 7 years of survivorship in September 2009 and offers a wide range of resources including a Spanish language support group.\n\n	 \n\n	Soroptimist International is an organization of dedicated business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls\, in local communities and throughout the world. Soroptimist gives women the ability to take control over their lives\, pursue their own goals\, and live according to their own values. Soroptimist has over 95\,000 members in 120 countries and territories.
